Every A walking tracker that keeps your location on your phone
Every Street works out which streets you’ve walked on your phone itself. Your GPS track, your walks and your map never leave it: there is no account to create, no server of its own that sees your walks, and no ads. If you want leaderboards, you can share totals, and only totals: a display name, a home district and block counts.
Why it matters
Where you walk says a lot about you: where you live, where you work, when you’re not home. Many fitness apps upload every track to their servers, and some show it on public profiles or heatmaps by default. For a game about your own city, that is exactly the data you walk through every day.
Every Street is built the other way round: the phone does the work, and your location stays with you.
What stays on your phone
- Your GPS track. Recorded while you walk and kept on the phone. You choose how long: forever (to redraw old routes), 90 days, or not at all. Walks, streets and statistics stay either way.
- The matching. The city’s streets are on your phone as a city pack built from OpenStreetMap, and your walks are matched against them there.
- Your map and progress. Every street, district and achievement is stored locally.
- Imports. Files from Strava, Google Timeline, Apple Health or GPX are read on the phone. Nothing is uploaded.

Turning “Share my totals” off deletes everything you shared. Details are in the privacy policy.
What Every Street doesn’t do
- No account, no sign-up, no email address.
- No ads and no advertising SDKs. The one analytics tool stays off unless you agree.
- No public maps or routes of your walks. Leaderboards show a display name and totals, nothing more.
- No server of its own: city packs come from this website, and that’s it.
The trade-offs
Keeping everything on the phone has a price. Your progress lives on your phone rather than in an online account, so it doesn’t follow you to a second device. And because there’s no server that could fetch your activities, Every Street can’t sync with Strava live; you import Strava’s export file instead.
Questions
Does Every Street upload my GPS track?
No. The track is recorded, matched to the streets and stored on your phone. Every Street has no server of its own and never receives where you walked.
Do I need an account?
No. You can use everything on your own without an account. Only if you turn on “Share my totals” for leaderboards and crews are your display name, home district and block counts stored online, and turning it off deletes them.
Does the app collect usage statistics?
Only if you agree to “Help improve Every Street”. Then it sends anonymous usage statistics and crash reports to PostHog in the EU, never your location or your walks. You can turn it off at any time in Settings › Privacy.
Can I delete my walks?
Yes. You can choose how long the raw GPS track of each walk is kept (forever, 90 days or not at all), and “Delete everything” removes all walks, progress and settings from your phone.
