Every Street vs Squadrats

Squadrats and Every Street both get you to places you’ve never been, but they count different things. Squadrats collects map squares, about 1.6 km and 200 m across, that any of your activities pass through, anywhere in the world. Every Street counts the streets of your city you’ve actually walked along, street by street and district by district, and keeps your GPS track on your phone.

Streets or squares?

A square counts once a single activity crosses it, so riding through a neighbourhood on its main road collects it. A street in Every Street counts once you’ve walked 90 % of it, so a neighbourhood is only done when you’ve walked its side streets too. Squares reward reach; streets reward depth.

Choose Squadrats if

• you ride or run long distances and want to grow your territory anywhere,

• you want to know your own city street by street, at walking pace,

What are squadrats?

Squares of the map’s tile grid: a squadrat is about 1.6 km across, and a squadratinho, 64 to a squadrat, about 200 m. You collect one when an activity passes through it, and aim for the largest square or cluster of collected tiles.

Is Squadrats or Every Street better for walking?

If you want to cover ground widely, by bike too, and see your territory grow worldwide, Squadrats. If you want to finish the streets of your own city on foot, with districts and city achievements, and keep your location on your phone, Every Street.
