Mexico City is vast, but it breaks down into colonias, and each colonia has its cerradas and privadas, the little dead-end lanes that Cerradas and Privadas sends you into. In Coyoacán, Azcapotzalco and the Centro, Callejón Wanderer follows the old alleys, and Centro Histórico walks Madero, Tacuba and 5 de Mayo near the Zócalo.

Then come the long lines. The Paseo de la Reforma runs past the Ángel de la Independencia into Chapultepec, and the Eje Central passes Bellas Artes on its way south. In the Condesa, The Amsterdam Loop circles Avenida Amsterdam, which was once a racecourse. Seven alcaldías cover the map.
