Frankfurt looks like a city of towers, but on foot it turns out to be a patchwork of old villages. Old Village Streets hunts down the Alt- streets from Alt-Höchst to Alt-Bergen, and Hohl Walker finds the sunken lanes worn deep into the slopes. In the centre, The Ring of Parks follows the Anlagen where the city wall once stood, past the Eschenheimer Turm.

The Main divides the city into this side and that, and This Side, That Side asks you to cross every bridge, the Eiserner Steg included. On the far bank, Apple Wine Lanes leads you through Alt-Sachsenhausen, where the apple wine still comes in a Bembel.
