Hanover is an easy city to begin. Follow The Red Thread, the line painted on the pavement, and it leads you to the sights of the centre, the Marktkirche and the Neues Rathaus among them. After that, the map opens up into thirteen boroughs, from the Lister Meile in the List to the Limmerstraße in Linden, and the quiet residential streets in between.
