Berlin has no single centre. It has twelve boroughs, each with its own centres, and within them every Kiez has its own corner of the map. That makes it a city for long, straight walks. Grand Boulevards takes you down Unter den Linden, the Ku’damm and Karl-Marx-Allee end to end, and Allee Collector keeps you going up Schönhauser Allee and beyond.

Water shapes the rest. On the Banks follows the Spree and the Landwehr Canal, and Across the Spree starts at the Oberbaumbrücke. For the longest walk of all, the Berlin Wall Trail traces the old border right through the city, past the East Side Gallery.
