Copenhagen is a city of water and bridges, and flat enough that you keep going longer than you planned. Strøget takes you from Rådhuspladsen to Kongens Nytorv, and The Stræder pulls you off it into the narrow lanes of the medieval old town. Beyond the old city gates, The Four Brogader follows Nørrebrogade, Østerbrogade, Vesterbrogade and Amagerbrogade out into their own kvarter.
Round the Lakes loops Søerne along both banks, while Across the Harbour and The Harbour Circle carry you from Nyhavn over Knippelsbro towards Christianshavn. And if it rains, as the Danes will tell you, that is what No Bad Weather is for.

Cross the bridges over the harbour, from Knippelsbro to Alfred Nobels Bro.

Strøget
Walk Strøget end to end, from Rådhuspladsen to Kongens Nytorv: Frederiksberggade, Nygade, Vimmelskaftet, Amagertorv and Østergade.
Round the Lakes
Walk the loop around Søerne: Sortedams Sø, Peblinge Sø and Sankt Jørgens Sø, along both banks.
The Stræder
Find the stræder, the narrow lanes of the medieval old town, from Fiolstræde to Magstræde.
The Four Brogader
Walk the high streets of the bridge quarters outside the old city gates: Nørrebrogade, Østerbrogade, Vesterbrogade and Amagerbrogade.
The Harbour Circle
Follow Havneringen along the harbour, across Knippelsbro and Cirkelbroen, from Nyhavn to Sydhavnen.
