Madrid is a city of plazas and paseos, and its walks tend to start from a square. Plaza Collector begins at the Plaza Mayor and heads out into the barrios, while Glorietas circles the round squares at the big junctions. The Paseo Axis runs the length of the Paseo del Prado, the Paseo de Recoletos and the Castellana, past the Plaza de Cibeles.
Gran Vía has its own badge, from Alcalá to the Plaza de España. Down by the river, Across the Manzanares crosses the bridges of Madrid Río. With 21 districts to set foot in, from Centro to Barajas, there is always another barrio to fill in.
